Turkey Trot Acres has earned a reputation as America’s premier wild turkey hunting lodge. This honor was earned by twenty-two years of hard work and sticking to our original game plan.... To provide quality hunting, lodging and dining for our guests. Turkey Trot is an all seasons operation, our hunting trips involve the months of May, October and November. Since the summer of 1990 during our "off-seasons" we have proudly been the destination for folks celebrating special occasions. In addition, every summer Turkey Trot is the place to go for unique dining experiences and to enjoy a festive evening of song and dance. If you are feeling adventuresome and would like to treat yourself and your guests to a fine meal in a totally unique atmosphere we’ve got the place you’re looking for! THE LODGE AT TURKEY TROT

Turkey Trot is a family run business located in a very private setting surrounded by hardwood ridges outside the picturesque farming community of Candor, New York in Tioga County. Our Lodge consists of a hand-crafted 3,600 sq.’ log cabin featuring log ceiling beams, wide pine flooring and a stone fire place. We have a fine collection of framed art prints, old advertising and mounted wildlife throughout the Lodge. Our facility consists of dining and meeting rooms, spacious living room, four private bedrooms, a large "bunkhouse" and four bathrooms. Attached to the Lodge is a 2,500 sq.’ covered patio used for fair weather entertaining. The "Tiki Bar" our outside watering hole is decorated with a "Margaritaville" flair and adds the finishing touch. Surrounding the Lodge, we offer hiking paths, horseshoes, swing-sets and boating and fishing on the beaches of "Lake Fa-Ka-Wee".

Without a doubt the foundation for the quality reputation we’ve earned nationally as well as locally is based solidly on the meals we provide for our guests. We are proud of the fact that.... "The Food At Turkey Trot Is Part Of The Entertainment". We use only the finest and freshest ingredients available and every dish is prepared on premises. We provide complete catering services for groups of up to 150 people in our outside patio during the summer months. For indoor events we can seat up to fifty people in our dining room which is available year-round. Here’s an example of some of the special occasions we can host....
