The 2002 edition of the "Turkey Trot All-Star Celebrity Hunt is destined to be the finest hunting event of its kind in the country. Our highly successful track record over the past seven years has caught the attention of the national media as well as the entire hunting industry. We have been blessed with the support of some great people joining together to support a very worthy cause... kids and conservation!

It's been said that this event is reminiscent of an "old-fashioned barn raising". Proudly following that theme, on May 16-19, 2002 the residents of the small community of Candor New York will join together and roll out the "Red Carpet" to an impressive group of sports, entertainment and hunting celebrities. Manufactures, outdoor writers, NWTF members and film crews will also join us for the benefit event.

Proceeds from the entire weekend will once again be divided between The National Wild Turkey Federation for use in their nationally renowned "Wheelin' Sportsmen" Program and the Candor Community for the final construction of a timber framed gazebo in our village park and for renovations at our children's youth facilities. We will also donate another $2,000 to the "Tioga County Farm Bureau" to be used as an Agricultural Scholarship for a local youth. To date this event has raised over $120,000, all of which went directly to benefit youth.

All participants will enjoy three mornings of topnotch turkey hunting, great lodging, fine meals, camaraderie, a golf outing and wildlife art auction . All of this will be staged in Tioga County, NY a small, picturesque farming-area in New York's Southern Tier that is nationally renowned for its quality turkey hunting.

This May we will continue to build on a tradition that has made this event "Legendary" among the turkey hunting fraternity as well as scoring big with non-hunting folks!
