Hunting at Turkey Trot Acres

Spring Gobbler -We will have 100-150 gobblers located
through out over 50,000 acres which we hunt. Our guides will roost birds
in the evening with you. In the morning we will attempt to call a bird into
gun range. Over the last 21 years, the guides here at Turkey Trot have collectively called well
over 1,500 gobblers to the gun! Fall Turkey Season - Is a real treat at Turkey Trot Acres. It's
our most successful hunt because we hunt with well-trained turkey dogs.
We've teamed up with John Byrne and Son from Lowry Virginia, breeders
of the finest turkey dogs in the country. Watching our Appalachian
Turkey Dogs bust a flock
of turkeys and then calling the birds to the blind is a truly unique experience. Gun Hunting for Whitetail Deer - Candor consistently ranks in the top ten townships in the NYS deer kill. Hunting is limited to rifles, shotguns and muzzleloaders. All deer hunting is done from elevated or ground level stands. We do not run a fully guided deer hunt but we will show you stand sights in prime hunting areas. |
